How Is Rhinoplasty Performed?

The procedure may involve various techniques, including:

Closed rhinoplasty: Incisions are made inside the nostrils, leaving no visible scars.
Open rhinoplasty: A small external incision across the tissue separating the nostrils (columella) to access all nasal structures.

Recovery After Your Nose Job

After your rhinoplasty in Manhattan, your job will be to sit back, rest, relax, and recover before returning to your busy schedule. Immediately after surgery, a small plastic splint will be placed on the bridge of your nose to help it maintain the newly created shape as it heals. The splint will be removed after one week, but you may choose to stay at home until the splint is removed.
